Ivoclar Dentures

Ivoclar Dentures

Not all dentures are created equally.

Dentures made with Ivoclar are the most lifelike available and are crafted using the most advanced material to ensure an enhanced appearance and dependable wear for years to come. This is an option when removing teeth so that you may be able to leave the office with a brand new smile. The reason for having these immediate dentures made is to give you a custom-crafted denture that is natural-looking and incredibly comfortable for your mouth. These dentures are made in 4 visits. The initial visit will be your impressions, followed by the second visit of taking a bite and selecting the shape and size, and color of teeth you're desiring. On the third visit, you will have a wax try-in to see what your teeth will look like inside your mouth. The fourth and final visit will be the removal of your teeth and your brand new smile.

Replacing missing teeth with implant retained dentures

When you have lost your natural teeth, a variety of complications can arise that can impact your physical and emotional health that's beyond your smile. You can find it difficult to speak clearly, chew your favorite food, or even swallow. You may even be embarrassed and try to hide your smile from others. Oftentimes, it can be difficult to hold in your denture while you are speaking. This can cause discomfort in the mouth and jaw, possibly leading to muscular issues, jaw pain, and headaches.

To secure a natural-looking smile, dentures can be retained with implants. There will be no more need for fixed agents that fill your dentures and corrode your gums. Implant dentures also assist in the ability to enjoy food once again. There will be no more need for your acrylic denture to obstruct your entire pallet and your tongue. A full set of dentures that anchor to implants will give you a more natural function than the traditional denture. Some soreness and some shifting are still possible, so it's important that you come back to your doctor to get necessary adjustments over time. It's also important to keep your dentures clean, especially from debris such as seeds, as they may cause discomfort.

Bar attachment denture

Bar attachment denture utilizes 2-6 implants in your lower jaw that fully anchor a full set of dentures into place. This custom-made support bar is fixed to the dental implants, and the teeth snap into place using special retention clips. This style is called an overdenture. It holds teeth securely, allowing a little shifting and movement when speaking and eating. This particular denture is removable for cleaning.

Screw Retained Denture

Screw retained dentures are among the most permanent teeth replacement options for those who need a full set of lower dentures. This type of implant-supported denture will use 4-6 implants in your lower jaw. A complete set of dentures is fixed to these implants with screws meaning that they are exceptionally secure. They will not need to be removed for daily cleaning. Instead, you will be able to clean around and under the teeth around your gum. The cleaning is more challenging, but the overall solution provides a permanent experience.
